When we first moved to the golden hills of California, we thought we had found paradise. As we spent hour after hour in the warm outside air, our skin told us differently. It was dry and starting to crack and chafe. Our kids’ hands and legs begged for moisture and we slathered on the lotion like butter on fresh bread. 

After dozens of experimental concoctions, we came up with a recipe combining six pure, ethically sourced oils with fresh milk from our herd of beloved, pasture fed goats. The explosion of delicate roses atop each bar calls us to pause at every use creating ritual out of the routine and finding beauty in the mundane moment.
